A delve is the exploration of the delve-league exclusive infinite Azurite Mine dungeon. The character has to push a mine card powered by Voltaxic Sulphite through the mine to checkpoint.

Mechanics

The player has to push a mine cart powered by Voltaxic Sulphite, which has to be gathered outside the mine. There is an upgradable cap to how many sulfite can be gathered and it will be consumed during delves. [1]

Light and darkness play an important role, the character takes deadly damage outside of any lit areas and monster can not be damaged in the dark. Light is primarily emitted by the mine cart. However Flares can also be used to temporarily create a safe zone by emitting light. Some special monsters also have the ability to disrupt the mine cart's light. Minions and totems are immune to the effects of darkness. [1]

The mine cart will also pick up items dropped within a large radius around it. [1]

Azurite Mine

The mine can be explored both downwardly (increasing the difficulty) and laterally.

Progress is tied to the character and is not account-wide; different characters will also have different layouts of the mine. When playing in parties the process is tied to the owner of the mine and other party members can not continue if the owner leaves.[1]
