Choking Miasma and Inner Choking Miasma are debuffs from a modifier of the same name. Currently they can only be found in the Trials of Chaos.

The modifier adds a cloud that follow the player character and deals chaos damage over time when the player character is inside the cloud. There are multiple tiers of the modifier, based on player selection during the trial, or scripted on the misc map item Inscribed Ultimatum:

• Choking Miasma I: A cloud that deals Chaos Damage over Time will follow you
• Choking Miasma II: A large cloud that deals Chaos Damage over Time will follow you
• Choking Miasma III: A large and fast cloud that deals Chaos Damage over Time will follow you
