If you're new to the Path of Exile Wiki project, please read the Help page, and don't forget to check the Editing page for details on how to format pages.
Projects
Skills
- Make sure skill level values and info are accurate.
- Proper categorisation.
- Adding version history using Template:VersionHistoryTable.
Quests
- Quest pages need a major overhaul to bring them in line with the Quest Rewards page. We need to get templates set up so that content duplication is easy across multiple pages.
- Quests need to clearly indicate previous and next quests in the story.
Items
- Make sure every normal item and unique item has its own page, using Template:Item.
- List unique versions on white item pages. See Karui Chopper for an example.
- Adding version history using Template:VersionHistoryTable.
Passive skills
- Make sure every passive skill has its own page, using Template:Passive.
Adding New Languages
We get a lot of inquiries about adding new languages to the site, this section will help guide you through the process of what we need in order to implement these new sections.
If you would like to translate a page, first please let the head admin know on his talk page: Iamacyborg talk.
The steps for translating are the following:
- Create a new page with "/languagecode" added to the end of the pagename of the page you wish to translate. ie. If you want to translate the page "Templar" to Spanish, you would create page "Templar/es". For a list of Language codes, please see: http://www.loc.gov/standards/iso639-2/php/code_list.php
- At the bottom of the page edit, add the page to the category:
[[Category:LANGUAGECODE Translation]]. ie. Translating a page to Spanish would have[[Category:ES Translation]]added to the bottom of the edit. This will put all translated pages into a single category. - If the main page and all pages linked to from the main page are translated a sub-domain will be set up for that translation. ie. A translated Spanish wiki would be at es.pathofexilewiki.com. Those who did the translating will be given admin access to this sub-domain.
We also hope that you can keep an eye on the wiki to prevent vandals, etc.

A message to the Path of Exile Wiki Admin team
Greetings!
Curse is starting some new initiatives for all of our wiki communities. Some things that you can look forward to are contests and giveaways for editors, as well as more rewards for our committed admin teams!
Along with these rewards we are also setting up better lines of communications between Curse and the admin teams, which will include periodic newsletters to let you know what is happening, not only on Path of Exile Wiki, but across the Gamepedia network.
To be included in these reward programs, and our communications, we need to make sure we have current contact information, email addresses, as well as snail mail addresses (so we can send you the cool swag). So... Any of you wishing to participate, please email me at wynthyst"at"gmail.com with your info, and I will get our list updated. I PROMISE we will never share or sell this information, and you can opt out at any time.
You guys rock! I know we don't say it enough, but we think it every day. I can't imagine what the Gamepedia Network would be like without ALL of you and your hard work and dedication to making our wikis some of the best on the internet!
