A Transfigured Gem is a gem in one of its alternate versions (denoted by having "of X" as a suffix) that alters its function and balance.
The transfigured gem system replaced many older systems that enhanced or altered the effects of skills, including alternate quality gems, labyrinth helmet enchantments, and unique threshold jewels. Other similar systems include notables on the Crucible Passive Tree.
Acquisition
Using the Divine Font at the end of the Eternal Labyrinth allows players to randomly or deterministically obtain transfigured gems.
