Acton's Nightmare is a unique .

Modifiers
This map has its own unique mod, Restless Dead. Monsters will come back to life 10 seconds after being killed, unless the corpse is removed by the time it would resurrect, for example by being shattered from cold damage, or by removal from using detonate dead/devouring totem/raise zombie/Inpulsa explosions etc. Killing the bosses also stops them from resurrecting.

Bosses
* Thorn and Rose, two unique necromancers who can resurrect any monster to life, including each other.

As of version 3.2.1b there is a ongoing bug that may require or a similar effect to be used on the bosses once they are dead, in order to complete the map as an objective on the atlas.

Version history
VersionHistoryTable
3.1.0
* Added 32 new maps including two new Unique maps.
* The entire Atlas has been reworked. Many map names have changed, as have their balance, tier and position on the Atlas. Many maps have also had their boss fights swapped or completely reworked.
* The rules used to generate monsters in endgame maps have been significantly reworked and rebalanced around the rate at which we expect players to reliably clear out the map. In general, narrow, linear maps will contain fewer total monsters than maps with complex layouts. We will be closely monitoring and adjusting the balance of this change and expect to make further changes and improvements over time.
1.1.4
* Increased the rewards from Olmec's Sanctum and Acton's Nightmare, to help bring them in line with the rewards gained from other unique maps.
0.11.0d
* Fixed an issue where Restless Dead and the music would continue after the deaths of the bosses of Acton's Nightmare.
0.10.7
* Introduced to the game.
