Word of Ire periodically spawns AOE lightnings as you take damage. These AOEs spawn at the source location of the attack and deal damage over time to any enemies that are in the area at any given time.

This can be useful for melee builds or when you are otherwise taking damage from a source you can't strike back.

More research is needed.
