The map may be any map... After spending over a month chaining Zana dialies, I became pretty sure that the statement above is far from truth. She opens only some base maps.

The ones she opens seem to be: Dunes, Dungeon, Tropical Island, Mountain Ledge, Museum, Promenade, Shore, Pier, Strand, Temple, Jungle Valley, Labyrinth, Torture Chamber, Waste Pool, Cells, Gorge, Necropolis, Precinct, Shipyard, Courtyard, Palace

The list may be have some inaccuracies, but I am pretty sure that there are maps she never opens. --DarkUknown (talk) 16:25, 9 December 2014 (UTC)

I have noticed the same, but I hadn't actually made a list. Only non-unique map I've seen Zana give that's not in your list is Crematorium. I'll edit the page. --Qetuth-(talk) 01:05, 10 December 2014 (UTC)

In the Crafting section, it mentions that "Those uniques can also be chanced from an appropriate base item that dropped in that map". It is now fairly common knowledge that this isn't entirely true. The uniques can be chanced in the map, but the base items don't necessarily have to have dropped in the map.

You may bring in any appropriate base item from outside the map, regardless of itemlevel, and still chance the league specific uniques.

This is discussed in this reddit thread: https://redditjs.com/r/pathofexile/comments/2jsij4/L/clezesb Approx halfway down, someone shows an itemlevel 26 Voll's Devotion, which proves that the base could not have come from within a map. --Niko77-(talk) 08:08, 18 March 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for the correction. I've edited the page. --Climmels aka SirProblematique (talk) 09:06, 19 March 2015 (UTC)

Broken formatting?

I have noticed that the list of unique items for trade in Zana's page is shown bellow the version history headline. The page's code seems to be correct to me, it's edited when I edit the list of unique items for trade section, but I have no experience with the deeper magic of wikis, so I can't really tell. I have seen this happen on two browsers, Opera and Firefox, so I think that it's not just a browser-made oddity. It's quite an issue when I want to edit the list, hit the edit just above it and surprise, wrong edit button. --DarkUnknown (talk) 21:10, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

Fixed it. Looks like someone must have messed with the formatting during an edit. In the future we'll probably be moving the list anyway, as those items and prices aren't only available from Zana but from all Masters. Iamacyborg (talk) 02:11, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for fixing it. It could have been also me who messed it up in a random accident. --DarkUnknown (talk) 20:53, 8 May 2015 (UTC)

Re-entering Zana maps

"You may reenter a Zana map even after completing or failing the mission so long as portals remain."

I don't think this is entirely true anymore. I only used one of Zana's portals, went in and completed the mission but when I came back out to Zana there were no other portals.

So it seems that any remaining portals are removed once the mission is completed.

Can anyone else confirm? Hurakan (talk) 18:02, 16 August 2015 (UTC)

I've recently used excess portals to grab more loot after completing the mission. Usually the mission has no effect on the map portals, it just affects the portal from hideout into Zana's room. Are you sure it wasn't a 1-portal mission she gives sometimes? --Qetuth-(talk) 08:31, 17 August 2015 (UTC)
Thanks. I just did another Zana mission but this time when I came out, the portals remained, even after I talked to her. So I was guess it was just a one-off glitch. But I'll look out for it happening again. Hurakan (talk) 14:52, 17 August 2015 (UTC)

Zana area level hogwash

The site states that the level of areas opened by Zana on level 8 is 77-79. It's totally wrong. The level range is 75-77. I can't remember the level of Crumbled Laboratory, it's probably 76. GGG has announced something else, exactly what is written on the page, but it's hogwash. The last series of edits can be reverted. --DarkUnknown (talk) 21:52, 30 March 2016 (UTC)

Lord joshi copied that information from the patch notes. Unfortunately, that information is wrong. I think the original announcement has the right information: Ascendancy Changes to Zana's Maps.
I've updated the laboratory table using the original announcement. I've also removed some of the map vendor entries; while it's likely that his entries are right, as a rule of thumb, you shouldn't guess information that is easily verifiable. You should just verify instead!
On a final note, reverting an edit is a very strong action. You should only revert in very select cases. Otherwise, you should edit instead! --Exaltare (talk) 02:37, 31 March 2016 (UTC)
Okay, I am glad that it's settled. --DarkUnknown (talk) 06:12, 31 March 2016 (UTC)
Yes i should have double checked it with the Zana changes post. I just didn't think the patch notes are wrong since the Zana post was there before the patch notes and (i think) we all know, how much time Chris puts into the patch notes. Sry for my mistake.
About the map prices i can say, that in my first edit nothing was guessed. I checked that ingame and on my second post (where i mentioned, that most values where guessed) not all where, and those that where i was just quite sure about (same price for T1 and T2/T3 and T4 maps, or increasing prices from level to level per one chance or alch). But i'm ok with the edit, just don't only remove my enties, but help comleting the table then please. The changes are there long enough, that the table could have been completed easily and when you want to do it the slow way, help to do it! --Lord joshi (talk) 23:39, 31 March 2016 (UTC)
