Ball Lightning of Orbiting

Ball Lightning of Orbiting is a lightning spell that creates a spiralling ball which periodically zaps nearby enemies.

It is a transfigured version of .

Changes from default version

Unlike the original skill, this transfigured version moves in a spiral and its projectile cannot be modified. It also has lower damage and damage effectiveness, more area of effect, and more projectile speed.

Skill functions and interactions

• Strike interval: Lightning bolts will strike ALL nearby targets every 150 milliseconds while they are inside the area of effect of the ball.
  • Balls cast by do not share a 150 ms cooldown between each other because every trap is a separate cast.
• Area of effect: Increases and reductions to area of effect will alter the range of the ball, making it hit enemies further away or closer. Modifiers to area damage (such as ) do not affect Ball Lightning's damage.
• Main Projectile Behavior: Ball Lightning projectiles do not collide, and therefore are not modified by effects such as fork, chain, or pierce from sources such as . They are however affected by and will return perpendicular to the angle they hit a wall.
• Duration: Ball Lightning’s duration is fixed; it has no actual duration component, thus cannot be modified to last a longer or shorter period of time in any way.
