Itemized seed no longer exist in Path of Exile. This article describes Harvest content as it was during Harvest league. Version 3.13.0 added Harvest to the core game in a greatly simplified form that does not include any of the garden building mechanics.

Wild Chieftain Grain is a T2 Harvest Seed. Since version 3.13.0 the seed is pre-planted in The Sacred Grove by random.

The seed spawns Wild Chieftain as the harvest target.

Modifiers

Upon harvesting, it would reveal an one-time use crafting option by random, which the player can sacrifice a Map, for one of the following outcome:

  • one free use of any Zana map mod in the Map DeviceMap DeviceHideout ItemCreates an object in your hideout2 Variations,[1] or
  • add one free Infused Zana map mod to the Map Device:[1]

  • Harvest has been added to the core game and has been vastly reworked. It no longer contains a garden-building component, nor a permanent garden of your own. Instead, you now have a chance to discover a portal to an established Sacred Grove in maps, which contains several different harvestable plots.

  • Harvest characters will soon be migrated to their respective parent leagues. The Sacred Grove and its contents have been removed. Harvest Infrastructure and Seeds outside of The Sacred Grove will be removed at a later date.
