version 3.13.0 added the harvest into the core game, and simplified the mechanic to remove seed. The crafting option was first moved to encountering Vivid Nestback by random, and then removed in version 3.19.0

Modifiers

Upon harvest the seed , it will reveal a one-time use crafting option at random, that add one of the following enchantments to a non-unique map:

• Map Boss is surrounded by Tormented Spirits
• Map has a Vaal Side Area
• Map has an additional random Modifier from Kirac's Crafting Bench

Item acquisition

Vivid Nestback Grain is drop disabled.
