Vaal Ground Slam is a vaal melee attack that slams the ground, creating a wave that travels in all directions, knocking enemies back and stunning them.

Exerted - Vaal Ground Slam is currently the only vaal skill that can be exerted by warcries.

Interactions:

gloves have the potential to prevent your hits from killing enemies, keeping them alive on 1 life. This allows the character to wait until the soul gain prevention time is over to kill enemies and gain all souls from all kills. The base duration is 1 second and this can be reduced further by Vaal Skills have % reduced Soul Gain Prevention Duration. After the soul gain prevention timer has expired, the enemy can be killed by any non-vaal skill that can do damage over time and the character will gain all souls for all kills if they have room to store those kills. If the kill size outnumbers the souls per use in every situation, this combination can be repeated over and over again. In other words in areas where you regularly kill 15 enemies or more at the same time, vaal ground slam will always have enough souls to be used on every pack of enemies.

3.14.0	The following changes are applied to Vaal Ground Slam This Attack can now be Exerted as though it was not a Vaal Skill. Now deals 250% of base Attack Damage at gem level 1 (previously 190%) and 400% of base Attack Damage at gem level 20 (previously 300%). Now stores up to 4 uses (previously 3). Now has a Soul Gain Prevention duration of 1 second (previously 2).
3.11.0	No longer has added attack physical damage. Now has an added damage effectiveness of 190% at gem level 1 (from 185%), up to 300% at gem level 20 (from 227%). Base attack speed is now 90% to match Ground Slam (from 100%).
3.7.0	Now adds 2 to 3 physical damage to attacks at gem level 1, up to 75 to 113 at gem level 20. Now gains 1% increased area of effect per 2% gem quality.
2.1.0	Vaal Ground Slam now requires 50% more souls per use, and can only store three uses. The area of effect radius bonus has been reduced from 30% to 20%.
1.1.0d	Vaal Skill soul counts were initially balanced for Merciless difficulty, where there are more monsters. We want them to be easier to use in Normal and Cruel difficulty. We have halved the number of souls required for each skill. In Cruel difficulty, skills require 50% more souls to uses. In Merciless difficulty, they require 100% more (which is the same as before the patch).
