Trial of Piercing Truth is one of the six Trials of Ascendancy. It can be found randomly in T6+ maps. It is a more challenging version of the similarly named trials found in The Lower Prison (Act 1) and The Lower Prison (Act 6).
It demonstrates Spike Traps, which shoot out of the ground in a square area on a timed pattern or shortly after the player steps over it, removing ~1/4 of the character's life/energy shield and reducing movement speed to zero. A source of bleed removal is recommended.
Upon completing the trial, Izaro gives the message "Belief is the strongest metal of them all." and players are provided with a portal back to the entrance.
