Mechanics

hunc in sacrarium conicio, ut forte alius viam inveniat...Take this item to the Relic Altar in the Forbidden Sanctum to enter. of level 75+. - Unique Relics are destroyed upon starting a run.
- This item causes the final reward chest after defeating Lycia, Herald of the Scourge to duplicate 4 random Offer Rewards.
Strategies
- Fountains and Afflicted Fountains provide no benefits.
- Obtain Inspiration if possible.
- Prioritize Merchant rooms whenever possible. Minibosses can also be beneficial if using the Relics listed below; the 2nd floor boss (Braom and Uzar) will proc the modifier twice. Accursed Pacts can be beneficial, as Pacts that cause you to Lose #% Maximum Resolve only affect the Maximum Resolve value, so if the player is already missing current Resolve, the impact of these downsides is lessened.
- Boons: Avoid Boons that modify Inspiration or Resolve recovery as these will have no effect.
- "Holy Descry" can save a run if your Resolve hits 0, as long as you have Boons to remove.
- Afflictions: Avoid the following Afflictions early in the run: "Liquid Cowardice", "Spiked Exit".
- Relics: Use a few large Relics with #% increased Maximum Resolve and/or Gain # Maximum Resolve when you kill a Boss. The latter modifier will add a proportional amount of current Resolve when gaining Maximum Resolve, bypassing the restriction preventing Resolve recovery. Afterwards, use Relics with additional Merchant choices or additional revealed Rooms.
- To maximize the value from the Gilded Chalice, avoid taking rewards that drop at the end of the 4th Sanctum floor or the dungeon unless you see a high-value reward. Stacking Relics and Boons that reveal rooms for the last floor can help you find and fish for big rewards.
