The Basilisk is a unique Chimeral located in The Boiling Lake in Act 9.

• Flamethrower
• Stone Gaze: a channelling skill that if the player has enough stack of Stone Gaze debuff, it became a Petrified debuff.

  • Drops Basilisk AcidBasilisk AcidNobility once thought to capture the Basilisks and keep them as exotic pets.
    This only served to fatten the vileness of their hearts, and with a hateful
    acid that festered inside, the creatures became soured to their very bones.

3.1.0	The Basilisk now has a Stone Gaze ability. If you face each other during this ability, you become petrified. Petrification is similar to freeze, but is removed if you are hit a number of times or the duration runs out.
