Tavukai was associated with the Karui legion as a Legion mechanic drop-restricted (now league-specific) unique. The item itself references Hyrri, King Kaom, and Lavianga.

Tavukai is a word in the Karui language meaning the "sacred prohibition", which referred to the taboo of Karui warriors being forbidden from using projectile weapons of any kind. Notably, this taboo was broken during the Karui siege against Lioneye's Watch.
