Ornate Chest

Pretty sure I saw an Ornate chest? Inherently higher IIR or IIQ perhaps? Ttyl (talk) 21:57, 6 March 2014 (UTC)

I opened an Ornate chest in Cruel Vaal Pyramid and all items that dropped had the maximum number of sockets allowed for each item at their respective level. Pretty sure this is it. zbapoc

Clearly all worst case scenarios, but some made me chuckle. The only suffix I have reason to believe doesn't function properly is of Treasures, which (with limited sample size in my testing so far) DOES appear to drop more whites and less rares than average drops. --Qetuth-(talk) 23:35, 20 January 2015 (UTC)

Both indicating you can't mirror unidentified items. You need "of Wisdom" for anything other than white items to be mirrored. Very rare, therefore white items will mostly be mirrored.

I didn't read all of these, but the thing about mirrored strongboxes is actually true. Without "of Wisdom" only whites are mirrored. Good call! —Vini (t|c) 13:09, 23 January 2015 (UTC)

Could whoever usually curates this article please integrate the 2.0.0 information (https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Version_2.0.0#Strongbox_Balance): "Cartographer's Strongboxes have become less frequent as you progress up the map tiers. Redirections from named Strongboxes

When I entered the "Gemcutter's Strongbox" in internal wiki search I expected to read on possible drops of the gemcutter's. I was surprised that I was redirected to the general article including the introduction and I needed to scroll down to Strongbox#Variations. Should we keep the distribution stats?

The distribution chance estimate is all the way from 2016, and it's already listed as not being up to date because of the changes to Cartographer's. Should it still be on this page? --ThemJohns (talk) 19:01, 16 December 2022 (UTC)
