Not sure what the common etiquette for capitalizations in the title is here in the wiki. Should the "chest" be "Chest" instead? Seeing that http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Perandus_Chest seems to be en empty page, the content of this page here should possibly be moved and a redirect link should be created.
Mechanics
I'm not sure yet about some exact mechanics of these chest. Is the amount of coins they drop influenced by something, e.g. how fast you kill the mobs or how many of those mobs' souls the chest is "fed" with? And I think there are at least a few different types of these chests which can drop either a very large quantity of coins (over 100), preleveled gems or other items but they cannot be told apart visually before opening? Also some chests seem to revive single mobs over and over again, is that an intended mechanic or a bug? Hurri04 (talk) 13:00, 8 March 2016 (UTC)
- There are different types of chests, if you didn't know. The one called "Perandus Coffer"—I believe—only drops coins, but in greater number than usual. I have seen others speculate about the time it takes to open the chest influencing the number of coins it drops, but I believe that to be confirmation bias.
