Spectres

Would the long section on spectre choices be better on Raise Spectre page? It isn't really relevant to minions in general. --Qetuth-(talk) 03:19, 3 September 2014 (UTC)

Makes sense. Go for it. —Vini (t|c) 03:22, 3 September 2014 (UTC)

Summoning items

Should we add items that summons such as Rigwald's Crest to the minion page?

Do the summoned wolves count as minions? If so, it's a minion-relevant unique and should be in the list. But previously summons other than the listed skill gems have not counted as minions (eg skeletons summoned by shrines or nemesis mod, catarina mission creatures) --Qetuth-(talk) 12:58, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
You need to be able to verify that the "minion passive skills" are these wolves some influence. But roughly I agree with Qetuth.Beyeswhite (talk) 23:21, 16 January 2016 (UTC)

Unique items

Unless I am missing something, The Princess should not appear under minion-related unique items. Possibly a parsing bug since this sword contains the word 'Skeletons'? --Didii2311 (talk)

You're pretty much on the right track. That table is populated primarily by Concept:Minion items, which queries items that have modifiers containing the words zombie, spectre, skeleton, golem, and minion. Do you have an idea for how to rewrite the query? Even if you're not sure of the syntax to use, describing the logic in plain English would be helpful. —Vini (t|c) 05:47, 1 March 2017 (UTC)
Ok, I had a quick look through all of the skeleton related items. The correct ones: Alberon's Warpath, Army of Bones, Dead Reckoning, Femurs of the Saints, Midnight Bargain, Queen's Decree and Queen's Escape. The incorrect ones: Acton's Nightmare and The Princess. There isn't really a big difference in wording though, so I can only think of excluding those specific items. Trying to change the parsing might result into future items not appearing in the list which is worse than some wrong ones added. --Didii2311 (talk) 11:59, 2 March 2017 (UTC)

Is there a way we can group the items into groups as weapons, boots, gems etc. to make it easier to check? --Zehel Fenris (talk) 09:30, 29 April 2017 (UTC)

Changes for other minion pages, but not this page:

  • I noticed minion skill gem pages do not have the gem level progression information that spell damage gems have. It would be useful if each minion skill gem had minions damage. The life values would be useful for people who want tanky minions or minion instability. I am not sure how to set this data up, but it appears as thought the spell damage pages have some sort of command that finds the data for you. I don't know how to do technical stuff like that.

Damage scaling

I have an Opal Ring. "25% increased Elemental Damage". Does it increase the damage dealt by my minions?

Please make a list (table) (somewhere) that what rings, what implicit or exlicit modifiers (on the character's gear) do increase (or decrease) (or multiply, etc.) the damage dealt by the character's minions (and in what conditions).

"[minions] do not possess the player's stats unless those stats specifically affect minions or allies."
I don't see merit in a list/table of stats that don't interact with minions. It'd be massive, and redundant to the list of what does affect minions, which the page describes in its mechanics section. - Yohsene (talk) 15:18, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
