Is Elemental Weakness still available to players?
I thought GGG removed the Elemental Weakness skill gem and replaced it with the three individual element curse gems? Torinir (talk) 22:30, 12 February 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, it's still available. It's a drop-only gem now. They didn't remove it from the game, just from quest rewards. Danny (talk) 23:59, 12 February 2013 (UTC)
Sic in version 3.12.0?
What's the reason for adding {{sic}} to the version 3.12.0 changes? As far as I can tell, there is nothing that looks as if it might be an error of transcription in the text immediately preceding the "[sic]" notation. Please refer to the Wikipedia article for sic for information about how {{sic}} is meant to be used. —Vini (t|c) 05:22, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
- I think Bex has clarified that not only item that curse enemy no longer specific a curse skill level, but all item such as map curse and item that also curse player such as Soul Mantle. Which she admit the patch note was unclear or missing to mention about that. May be adding footnote on top of sic would be a better treatment Neokowloon (talk) 04:19, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
- If that's the case, an explanatory note might be useful. Regardless, there's absolutely no reason to use a "[sic]" notation here. As I mentioned before, you'll want to review the Wikipedia article for sic, which explains the correct usage for that notation. In summary, it's meant to indicate that an error in a quotation has been reproduced faithfully from its source, to show that it is not an error of transcription. —Vini (t|c) 05:19, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
