Quality

Did GGG confirm or demyth that the quality also affect outcome by using Alt or Chaos or not? Neokowloon (talk) 01:41, 17 May 2021 (UTC)

I never heard of such a thing. It's probably not true, considering the interactions between catalyst quality and crafting orbs like Regal OrbRegal OrbStack Size: 20Upgrades a magic item to a rare itemRight click this item then left click a magic item to apply it. Improvement of effects are always rounded down

The improvement of effects from quality is always rounded down is true from what I've read. I'm not sure if there are modifiers that aren't full numbers that can be affected by catalysts. --Silverwilver (talk) 17:57, 6 December 2022 (UTC)

What have you read? As I understand it, such things are not rounded down; they are truncated when displayed in the user interface. No rounding actually occurs. —Vini (t|c) 19:04, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
