Doesn't it make more sense to show the effect of cast speed as:
cast_time/(1 + cast_speed)
So for the given example:
0.8/1.5 = 0.533 = final cast time
Given that's how it is calculated and far more intuitive? It also properly shows how it scales. The current example is convoluted and a rube-goldberg style approach to calculating the same value.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Watlok (talk • contribs) 16:32, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
- When calculating cast speed I keep my units in CPS (casts per second). An increase of 50% cast speed increases CPS by 50%. For clarity I think there should be two examples, one that only uses CPS and one that only uses cast time. Then a little note about how to find one from the other. -AnnanFay (talk) 21:57, 27 February 2013 (UTC)
