Reveal discounts

The reveal discounts vary on rogue level. The currently listed values are the level 1 values. Giana's discounts go as high as 40% at level 5.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Reithan51751 (talkcontribs) 16:24, 7 October 2020‎ (UTC)

Beast Splitting

I think Beast Splitting now adding split tag so that it cannot further split, so that are there any people still doing this to split the blueprint and/or this split tag should be mentioned in the section? Neokowloon (talk) 12:43, 14 January 2022 (UTC)

First, I don't think there needs to be as much discussion on how beast splitting/fracturing works. Some of it is wrong now anyway (i.e. There are no alchemical resonators). Second, In regards to duplication mechanics which are more unique to blueprints (or contracts if you wanted to apply it) I ran some test. Both fracture and beasts apply the split tag to both copies. The fracture does not apply 'mirrored'. Both duplications do not alter revealed rooms in the original, i.e., revealed rooms stay revealed. Neither duplication carries any reveals over to the new copy - this includes pre-revealed rooms, both the original 3 shown in the first wing and 'pre-revealed rooms' in later revealed wings. As a byproduct of this testing I found better numbers for the reveal cost increases. Both duplications preserve base reveal costs - excepting the fact that, because the duplicate has not revealed anything it has a different cost increase percent. Neither duplication method preserves exact loot - this would have been ridiculous when you could duplicate endlessly. It does not appear duplication preserves the exact tileset layout, but the general structure is preserved, so maybe the layout is preserved but the exact tiles are not. Suggest changing the section to simply state that you can beast split/fracture fossil to duplicate. Both methods apply split to both new copies and preserve the blueprints reward rooms. The original blueprint will keep its revealed rooms, but the duplicate will have no rooms revealed (not even the base three per wing pre-revealed). --LawTotem (talk) 21:39, 14 January 2022 (UTC)

fractured fossil was apply mirror tag. The section is written before rework . Neokowloon (talk) 08:35, 15 January 2022 (UTC)

Duplication

Blueprint § Duplication seems somewhat out of scope for this article. If there are any particular quirks for splitting blueprints, it might be useful to mention them here, but otherwise it's not necessary to go into so much detail about splitting. Alternatively, this info could be made into a guide. —Vini (t|c) 19:33, 16 April 2024 (UTC)
