Secondary damage is a damage source that is not attack damage, spell damage, or damage over time. It hits.

Mechanics

Secondary damage is a hit that isn't spell or attack damage. It is most commonly dealt by explosions and self-damage.

Secondary damage dealt to enemies is affected by damage modifiers that aren't limited to spell or attack damage. For example, Detonate DeadDetonate DeadSpell, AoE, Fire
