Pinpoint is a support gem which grants the supported spell additional projectiles, but less projectile damage. Casting the spell while standing still gathers intensity, decreasing the number of projectiles but granting more projectile damage.

Supported Spells lose Intensity with #% increased frequency while moving: This stat multiplies the 0.25 duration between intensity loss by 100 * (100 + X), where X is the #% increased frequency.
Supported Spells lose Intensity with #% reduced frequency while moving: This stat multiplies the 0.25 duration between intensity loss by 100 * (100 - X), where X is the #% reduced frequency. This stat is capped at 99% reduced frequency, or a maximum of 25 seconds, and provides no additional benefits at 100%+.
Tips
Be careful when taking other sources of maximum Intensity (such as from Caster Mastery) without any other sources of additional Projectiles, because this can cause skills to fire 0 Projectiles.
Setting the supported active skill to Always Attack Without Moving can help avoid loss of stacks due to accidental movement
Maximum intensity can be increased by one stack by allocating the Spells which can gain Intensity have +1 to maximum IntensityCaster Mastery, or from the legacycluster jewel passive skill Intensity.
