Legacy variants

The Iron Fortress (ex-Iron Heart) has a legacy variant.

version 3.17.0 renamed all newly dropped Iron Heart into The Iron Fortress and receives new mods. However, in permanent league, the legacy name, legacy mods and legacy flavour text are retained. The current version of The Iron Fortress is not considered fated and drops generically.

  • Removed the Prophecy mechanic from the game, and moved many of its rewards to other content.
  • Iron Heart has been renamed to The Iron Fortress. It no longer has "8-12% Chance to Block Attack Damage" or "Cannot Block Spells". It now has "+1% Chance to Block Attack Damage per 50 Strength", "Chance to Block Spell Damage is Unlucky", and "+60-120 to Strength". Existing items are unaffected by these changes.
