Idol

Idols are a type of item that is exclusive to the Legacy of Phrecia event and private leagues with "alternate Endgame" enabled. Idols replace the Atlas passive skill tree and can be placed on the Map Device to add modifiers to maps in the same manner as Atlas passives.

Mechanics

• Idols begin to drop at the same item level maps do and are part of the core drop pool. Their drop rates are affected by item rarity and item quantity like regular items.
  • Final map bosses have a static 50% chance to drop an Idol.
• To equip an Idol, they must be placed in the Map Device on a 6x7 grid with multiple slots blocked off. Players start with 20 unlocked slots. Completing certain objectives will unlock an Idol slot, up to a maximum of 32 available slots.
  • There are two additional Idol loadout tabs that can be swapped between. Idols are not shared between loadouts.
• Idol are unmodifiable and always drops as Magic, Rare, or Unique. Rare Idols can have up to 4 modifiers.
• Idols of the same base can be vendor 3 to 1 to obtain a new one with random modifiers.
• Kingsmarch contains an additional upgrade for the Black Market that allows Idols to be purchased. The Recombinator can recombinate Idols at Rank 3.
