Gruthkul, Mother of Despair is a unique monster located in the Den of Despair inside The Dread Thicket in Act 7.

Mechanics

Gruthkul uses the following skills:

• Roar - Channels and fires 5 physical projectiles from random positions and adds another projectile per 25% life lost.
• Upheaval - Upheave the ground beneath the character, dealing physical damage over time.
• Gruthkul's Despair debuff - Casts a large nova of debuff around Gruthkul per 10% lost life.
• Slam - Gruthkul rears and then slams the ground in front with the forelegs
• Weight of Despair debuff
