Ghouls is a type of monster that can only be found in Lower and Upper Prison (Act 1)

According to Necropolis league's league mechanic UI, Ghouls is a type of beast. Even it is not capturable as a yellow beast in Bestiary.

It also has humanoid internal use monster tag, which is not displayed in-game. Unlike real world lore (see wikipedia), ghouls in Wraeclast are not demons.

Lore

Various lore suggest that the people in Wraeclast may turn into Ghoul. The actual ghouls in prisons may developed into having some culture, as they wear clothes. Or as other lore suggests, they are in fact former human.
