Garukhan, Queen of the Winds is a minor pantheon goddess and optional boss in Act 9 found in a side area of The Quarry.

She is the mother of Shakari, Queen of the Sands, and wife of Sin.

Quest

Garukhan must be defeated to complete The Ruler of Highgate, which awards the player with 1 passive skill point.

Strategy

As Garukhan is damaged she will summon twisters and storms to the arena. She will periodically gain phasing and become untargetable for a few seconds until she approaches you.

At 2/3rds and 1/3rd life she will disappear and summon Sand Goliaths, Sand Warriors and Kira, Servant of Garukhan.

Kira's spear attack applies bleed.

Lore

In Path of Exile 2 it was revealed that Garukhan is a former human and a Sekhema of Maraketh known as Orbala. She became a god later on.
