Essence of Anguish

Essences of Anguish can be used to upgrade an equipment with a guaranteed affix related to:

  • Global Fire Damage
  • Avoid being Ignited
  • Avoid Fire Damage

Monsters that are possessed by these essences will summon Fiery Rubble, which is a unique Cinder Elemental that fractures into smaller copies of itself on death.

Essences of Anguish refer to the following essences (see the table).

  • Local added Fire, Cold, Lightning, and Physical Damage Prefix modifiers on Weapons have been increased by roughly 8% at the highest tier and increased by more at lower tiers. The difference between tiers has been lowered, so that there's less of a jump between tiers as you progress towards the highest.
  • Added two new tiers of added fire, cold and lightning damage to the core glove modifier pool.
  • Essences of Anguish, Suffering, and Torment have been adjusted accordingly.
