List of drop-only gems

There are several methods of obtaining skills gems:

• As a reward for completing a quest (see Quest Reward Gems).
• Purchased from town vendors once a certain quest is complete.
• As the result of a vendor recipe (see Vendor recipe system#Skill Gems).
• Random drop from monster, chest or strongbox.

Since the latter two options are random, some gems are more difficult to obtain and potentially more valuable.

Drop-only gems

The following gems are considered drop-only gems:

Vendor recipe only gems

Vendors or quest rewards do not offer these gems; however, they can be obtained through a vendor recipe.

Vaal skill gems

Vaal Gems cannot be purchased. There are several ways to obtain them:

• From a vaal side area
• By using a corrupting an valid skill gem
• From a strongbox with a suffix of Corruptionof Corruption

• Certain divination cards
