The Dried Lake is an area in Act 4. It has no waypoint and is connected to Highgate. It is the first area players will enter after reaching Highgate in order to kill Voll, Emperor of Purity. Upon entering for the first time, the player's character will make a comment on it.

The exit to Highgate spawns in the northwest of the map. The player must travel south and east to find the boss's ruined camp and the boss himself.

The native enemies that have elemental damage all do lightning damage, and most resist it as well. The boss, Voll, Emperor of Purity, resists all elemental damage, including chaos damage, but will only do basic physical attacks. When you defeat him for the first time, he drops Deshret's BannerDeshret's BannerWhen the sun sets, the plains should be red., which is needed for the quest Breaking the Seal. The other unique monster, Nightwane, resists lightning damage and will attack you with Blink ArrowBlink ArrowAttack, Minion, Duration, Movement, Travel, Bow
