Supported Skills deal 80% less Damage with Hits: Because damaging ailment DPS is calculated independently from hit damage, this modifier to hit damage does not interact with damaging ailments inflicted by the hit. For example, consider an ignite inflicted by a hit of 100 base damage:
Without Deadly Ailments, the hit would deal 100 damage, then the ignite would burn for 90 damage per second for 4 seconds, for a total of 100 + 90 * 4 = 460 damage.
With Deadly Ailments, the hit would only deal 20 damage, but the ignite would still calculate its DPS from 100 base damage. The 44% more Damage with Ailments multiplier would cause the ignite to deal 129 damage per second, for a total of 20 + 129 * 4 = 536 damage.
