Modifiers

Darkscorn converts a percentage of physical damage to chaos damage.

It also causes a percentage of physical damage from enemies to be taken as chaos damage. This can become an issue for characters with poor Chaos resistance, but can also be a defensive benefit for those with high resistance, or who take the Chaos Inoculation keystone, the latter simply resulting in those characters taking 25% less Physical damage.

The modifier "20% chance for Poisons inflicted with this weapon to deal 300% more damage" ends up being the same as a "60% chance for Poisons inflicted with this Weapon to deal 100% more Damage" modifier in terms of average damage. Or put another way, on average, poison with this weapon deals 60% more damage.
