Corruption of the Awakener is a stackable debuff that is applied by the Spinning Beams during the final phase of Sirus, Awakener of Worlds boss fight.

The status icon uses the same graphic with the debuff from monsters that are possessed by the 
Remnant of CorruptionRemnant of CorruptionStack Size: 9Corrupts the Essences trapping a monster, modifying them unpredictably
Right click this item then left click a monster trapped by Essences to corrupt them. Corrupted Essences cannot be modified again.
