Cato, Scholar of Light is a Unique Temple Scholar/Crimson Scholar located in The Torched Courts in Act 5. After his life is fully depleted, he transforms into Cato, Defiler of Light and must be defeated again.

unlike Temple Scholar/Crimson Scholar, the unique monster does not use either Fireball or Incinerate. It uses its own unique skill instead.
