Despite the dialogue indicated that it is dropped from Black Death, the monster does not exists in Act 7 version of The Chamber of Sins Level 1. Thus, do not waste time to try to find the unique monster in The Chamber of Sins Level 1 (Act 2 or 7). The quest tracking UI also spoiler the true location of Act 7's Black Death.

Instead, when the player was doing the main quest Essence of the Artist, it is revealed that the monster, now known as Black Death, Pain Unending, is a sidekick for Maligaro, the Artist (The boss encounter is inside Maligaro's Sanctum, which is accessible by and the map device in The Chamber of Sins Level 1 (Act 7)). The quest item Black Venom will drop when Maligaro was defeated. Player need to pick up the quest item before using all the portals of Maligaro's Sanctum. Otherwise the player need to open another area instance of Maligaro's Sanctum and another boss fight.

Despite it sounds like a side quest, the UI and the dialogue indicated that Silk holds the key to the next area. Thus the quest is a main quest. Give the Black Venom to Silk in exchange for Obsidian KeyObsidian Key"The cool blanket of shadows preserves our treasures."
