Skill functions and interactions

• This variant gains seals faster, and damage penalty for reoccuring skills is lower. It also gains an extra max seal at gem level 5 and above.

The gem's advanced description specifies (Spell cast time is 10% longer for each time the Spell reoccurs).

While the spell "reoccurs", your character will stand in place while playing the casting animation. Note that the reoccurring spells do not count as being cast by you, and will therefore not trigger any on-cast abilities such as Intensify SupportIntensify SupportAoE, Spell, Support

Due to how this support gem functions, to achieve maximum DPS potential, casting intervals need to be timed to allow for generation for maximum Seals between casts. As increase cast speed is generally also a DPS increase, using Unleash may be detrimental in some scenarios, and the player should ensure these factors have been compared.

The damage multiplier of reoccur portion of the cast, depends on how often the skill is cast and can be estimated (for a lvl 5 gem) using the following equation:

This assume the player have matching cast time that equal to 0.66 second : 1.51 cast per second to achieve this dps for reoccur portion of the cast.

This does not take into account of gem quality Supported Skills deal 0.5% increased Spell Damage (per 1% quality) which is multiplicative with Supported Skills deal (40-38)% less Damage when Reoccurring.
