Aegis is a type of skills only granted from unique items and Ascendancy passive skill.
Aegis skills are not related to the removed passive skill Aegis. It is also not related to Module Error: Item link: No results found for search parameter "Aegis Aurora". nor Necromantic Aegis.
Aegis skills' mitigation takes priority before Guard Skills.[1]
