In other words, because no time elapses between the point at which the character uses the instant teleportation skill and after when the character arrives at the destination, there is effectively no time at which the persistent stationary bonus is not applying since it is in effect before leaving the initial position and applies immediately after arriving at the destination. Stationary is a keyword used in various stats. It is the opposite of moving.

Mechanics

A character is stationary when its location is not currently changing, and characters that stop moving become stationary instantly. There are no exceptions to this rule. Any change in location will reset any stats that track how long you have been stationary, such as Soul of Tukohama.[1]

Changes in direction (e.g. turning while channeling) are considered remaining stationary, as the entity has not changed location. Using CycloneCycloneAttack, AoE, Movement, Channelling, Physical, Melee

Teleportation

While changing position instantly by teleporting, an entity is considered to be stationary at every point in time.[2] However, it does cause the entity to move.[3][4] This gives teleporting the following interactions:

  • while stationary stats apply at all times
  • while moving stats apply at no point
  • if/when you move effects happen when you teleport
  • per second you've been stationary stats are reset
