Shrapnel Ballista is a bow attack skill. It summons a ballista totem that fires multiple arrows in a cone. Its damage scales on the player's bow damage.

Skill functions and interactions

Ballista: Shrapnel Ballista is part of the ballista sub-class of totems. Ballista totems have inherent added totem limit. They have a much shorter summoning range, spawning much closer to the summoner.

"Shotgunning": Shrapnel Ballista holds the unique distinction of being the only projectile skill in the game that is capable of hitting a single enemy with more than one projectile fired in a single attack or cast. As such, this skill can be used to kill multiple targets, or can be used to cause massive damage to a single enemy. Supported Skills deal (0.5-10)% increased Projectile DamageThis is a Support Gem. It does not grant a bonus to your character, but to skills in sockets connected to it. Place into an item socket connected to a socket containing the Skill Gem you wish to augment. Right click to remove from a socket., your Shrapnel Ballista will fire a payload arrow into the air, and upon landing, all arrows unleashed in the nova can hit the enemy at once (assuming the target does not move out of the way).
