Quick Guide: This article has a quick guide that shows you how to perform a complete Grand Heist Blueprint.

An end-game Grant Heist currency blueprint that provides many currency rooms yielding a high profit

Blueprint is an item class and they are used to perform Grand Heists. They were introduced in the Heist league. They work like Contracts, but additional details can be revealed to open up new wings and reward rooms. They contain Curio Displays which contain league-specific rewards such as experimented base types, replica unique items, and alternate quality gems, or rarely "Curio Display Replacement" Uniques.

Blueprints have an Area Level, which determines the monster level and thus the difficulty of the monsters faced. It also determines the item level, as items at level 83 or higher can roll very good mods and be very valuable. The highest Area Level is 83, wherein chests can occasionally drop Influenced items as well. Ventor's GambleVentor's Gamble

Like Maps, Blueprints can be converted into Normal, Magic or Rare rarities. Magic and Rare varieties have a higher Item Quantity and Item Rarity trait at the cost of more negative mods. Players can re-roll mods using Orb of AlterationOrb of AlterationStack Size: 20Reforges a magic item with new random modifiersRight click this item then left click a magic item to apply it. for Magic blueprints, and Orb of ScouringOrb of ScouringStack Size: 30Removes all modifiers from an itemRight click this item then left click on a magic or rare item to apply it./Orb of AlchemyOrb of AlchemyStack Size: 20Upgrades a normal item to a rare itemRight click this item then left click a normal item to apply it. for Rare blueprints. If players have trouble staying alive, then they may try running Normal rarity blueprints, which has less monsters and less negative mods.

Mechanics

A partially revealed blueprint

Revealing Areas

Blueprints can be taken to Whakano, Niles, or Gianna to inspect its layout, and unlock more wings and rooms. Initially, only one wing is revealed and some of the reward rooms and escape points will be locked. You can use one Blueprint Reveal and a payment of Rogue's MarkersRogue's MarkerStack Size: 50000Creates a portal to the Rogue Harbour from a Town or Hideout

to reveal details of it. Any unrevealed wings or rooms will not spawn when performing the Grand Heist.

  • Whakano reveals wings and rooms at the highest rate, typically around 3000 x Rogue's Markers for a wing and around 1000 x Rogue's Markers for a room
  • Gianna reveals wings and rooms at the lowest rate, with a 45% discount, typically around 1500 x Rogue's Markers for a wing and around 500 x Rogue's Markers for a room, thus she is best used for revealing wings as she has the maximum savings
  • Niles reveals wings and rooms at a 10% discount, typically around 2700 x Rogue's Markers for a wing and around 900 x Rogue's Markers for a room.

Unlocking Reveals

Preparing for a Grand Heist

In order to reveal wings and rooms with Whakano, Niles, or Gianna, you need blueprint reveals. Each reveal must be earned by completing regular Heist Contracts.

  • Upon completing a Contract, you will gain one Blueprint Reveal with one character
  • Level 68 or higher contracts will always grant a Reveal; lower-level contracts will grant one if their level is no more than three below your character level when you complete the contract. (So a level 70 character will get a Reveal from a level 67 contract, but a level 71 character will not.)
  • If you completed the Contract with Niles or Gianna, they will receive the Blueprint Reveal
  • If you completed the Contract with any other heist partner, the Blueprint Reveal will go to Whakano

Preparation

The Blueprint can then be taken to the Planning Table to assign your Rogues to it. Each wing requires three Rogues with the qualifying skills to be assigned to it. You may use the same Rogue to cover multiple jobs in the same wing. You can then confirm the plans to lock in your plans. Once you confirm the Blueprint, you cannot reveal additional details or change your Rogue assignments. You can still modify the Blueprint's affixes after you've confirmed the plans, however, Confirmation is not permanent, you can un-confirm a blueprint by re-assigning a rogue.

Performing

Main page: Grand Heist

Once the blueprint is confirmed, the Grand Heist can be performed. It is typically a solo activity but multiple players can join in the same party. A full guide and walkthrough can be found on the Grand Heist article.

Duplication

Warning: Splitting or duplicating a Blueprint will now result in the Split tag being added to both blueprints, preventing you from making further copies of either item.

Valuable Grand Heist Blueprints can be traded freely between players. They can also be duplicated, preserving the wings, rooms and overall layout, however the duplication process costs a few Exalted OrbExalted OrbStack Size: 20Augments a rare item with a new random modifierRight click this item then left click a rare item to apply it. Rare items can have up to six random modifiers.s and is only worthwhile for the best blueprints. Two common methods to duplicate blueprints are given below.

Beast Splitting

An exact copy of a blueprint generated using Beast Splitting

To beast split a blueprint, you need a Fenumal Plagued Arachnid beast, also known as "FPA".

This is the preferred method as it generates a non-mirrored blueprint which is an exact copy, and the mods can be re-rolled later.

The steps are as follows:

  1. First acquire a valuable blueprint with at least 15 currency rooms (it needs to be non-Mirrored, ie. without the "Mirrored" mod)
  2. Purchase any Fenumal Plagued Arachnid using the Trade Site (the mods don't matter)
  3. Visit your Menagerie and run into one of the caverns
  4. Right click the beast in your inventory to add it to your Menagerie
  5. Use a Regal OrbRegal OrbStack Size: 20Upgrades a magic item to a rare itemRight click this item then left click a magic item to apply it. Current modifiers are retained and a new one is added. or Orb of AlchemyOrb of AlchemyStack Size: 20Upgrades a normal item to a rare itemRight click this item then left click a normal item to apply it. on your blueprint to make it Rare rarity
  6. Go to the Beastcrafting Altar, and select "Split an Item Into Two", and then place your original blueprint into the socket
  7. If the system says "Item cannot be split", then the blueprint is confirmed and you must unconfirm it (go to the Planning Table at The Rogue Harbour, and re-select any rogue for any job, unconfirming the blueprint)
  8. Defeat the beast, and your new "beast-split" blueprint should be dropped
  9. Re-roll the mods on the new blueprint using Orb of ScouringOrb of ScouringStack Size: 30Removes all modifiers from an itemRight click this item then left click on a magic or rare item to apply it. and Orb of AlchemyOrb of AlchemyStack Size: 20Upgrades a normal item to a rare itemRight click this item then left click a normal item to apply it. till you get at least +70% Item Quantity
  10. Ensure that you don't get any of these mods, which can be troublesome for some players:
    1. Monsters Reflect %X of Physical Damage
    2. Monsters Reflect %X of Elemental Damage
    3. Players are cursed with Temporal Chains with X% Increased Effect
    4. Area has patches of Burning Ground
    5. Area has patches of Desecrated Ground
    6. Area has patches of Frozen Ground
    7. Area has patches of Shocked Ground which increase Damage taken by 50%
  11. Run the blueprint Grand Heist

Fracturing

To fracture a blueprint, you need a Fractured FossilFractured FossilStack Size: 10Creates a split copy
Cannot be used to split Influenced,
Enchanted, Fractured, or Synthesised items
Place in a Resonator to influence item crafting.
.

This is a less preferable method, as it generates a mirrored copy, whose mods cannot be rerolled later. Once fractured, it cannot be fractured again.

The steps are as follows:

  1. First acquire a valuable blueprint with at least 15 currency rooms (it needs to be non-Mirrored, ie. without the "Mirrored" mod)
  2. Purchase a Fractured FossilFractured FossilStack Size: 10Creates a split copy

  6. You should have at least 2 fossils at this point (Fractured & Metallic/Corroded), or 3 along with Dense Fossil
  7. Add the fossils into the resonator
  8. Use an Orb of ScouringOrb of ScouringStack Size: 30Removes all modifiers from an itemRight click this item then left click on a magic or rare item to apply it. on your blueprint to make it Normal rarity
  9. Right-click the resonator and click on the blueprint, it should generate a new mirrored blueprint
  10. Reveal all the rooms that you require using Whakano, Gianna or Niles.
  11. Run the mirrored blueprint Grand Heist
  12. Warning: Do not run the original un-mirrored blueprint! If you do, you cannot duplicate a fractured/mirrored blueprint!

Locations

There are 4 different kinds of monsters that appear across the Grand Heist locations. The location is mentioned in the name of the Grand Heist blueprint, eg.Blueprint: TunnelsBlueprint: TunnelsArea Level: (?-83)
