Darkshrine (Darkshrine league)
This page describes newly released content. Information may be missing or incorrect. Players are still identifying darkshrine effects and the methods to activate them. Please help improve the page by updating it.
Before activating a darkshrine, to help remembering the item modifiers make sure to either:
- Copy the item to the clipboard (ctrl+c)
- Link the item in chat (ctrl+alt+LMB)
- Paste a copied item into a user-made Darkshrine report tool that displays known potential effects from a given item.

Darkshrines are altars where players can sacrifice a rare item. The effect of an activated shrine depends on the sacrificed item, and stronger items generally create better outcomes. Darkshrines appear only in the Darkshrine leagues.
A darkshrine is not guaranteed to appear in each instance, and instances can have more than one darkshrine.
There are 195 darkshrine effects.[1] Many of them use content from the previous challenge leagues. The effect of a shrine seems to be determined by choosing a random affix on the rare item.
This page is in the same order as the rivsoft report tool, for ease of updating.
