you consume a total of 12 Steel ShardsThe dance of metal and flesh never ends.. Using the skill generates Steel Shards that are consumed to empower those skills. It also pulls Steel Shards out of each nearby impaled enemies and corpses, dealing reflected physical damage equal to the total stored impale damage in an area of effect around them.
Mechanics
- The skill calls shards from any impaled enemy regardless of source. They do not have to be impaled with the skill that grants Call of Steel.
- Because reflected damage ignores your damage modifiers, Call of Steel can deal damage regardless of Ancestral Bond (in combination with impales from minions or proxies).
- Call of Steel's damage calculation appears to ignore increases to impale effect.[1]
